La irrupción en Occidente del paradigma de la modernidad y, en
su seno, la definición de marcos epistémicos reguladores del saber
científico, ha significado la distinción en áreas de conocimiento y, por ende, en recortes parciales de objetos de estudios. Estas distinciones han ido marcando unas trayectorias de “disciplinamiento” del saber
y, al mismo tiempo, de distanciamiento entre el saber teórico y el
saber práctico, la ciencia y la política, definiendo un tipo de ciencia,
un tipo de sujeto de conocimientos y, también, un tipo de objeto de
conocimiento. En este sentido, pensar una episteme comunicacional
no es simplemente construir un nuevo objeto de estudio sino
articular una perspectiva del conocimiento desde la construcción de
relaciones (constelaciones) estableciendo nuevas posibilidades de conexión entre comunicación, cultura y política antes que reforzar la
distinción entre ciencia e intervención social. Las producciones teórico/
epistemológicas/metodológicas de Walter Benjamin nos invitan
a pensar un conocimiento en términos de perspectivas inconclusas
de una realidad por demás compleja.
The emergence of the modernity paradigm in occident and his own
definition of epistemological frames of scientific knowledge, has led
to the distinction in areas of knowledge and thus, in partial cutting
of the studies objects. These distinctions has been mark a path of
“discipline” of knowledge and at the same time, the gap between
theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge, science and politics, defining a kind of science, a type of subject knowledge and also, a type of knowledge object. In this way, think about an communication episteme is not simply create a new object of study but to articulate a perspective of knowledge from building relationships (constellations) setting up new possibilities of connection between communication,
culture and politics rather than reinforce the distinction between
science and social intervention. The Walter Benjamin’s theoretical
/ epistemological / methodological / production, invites us to think
knowledge in terms of unfinished prospects for other reality a lot more complex.
